I care about this city

When I moved to Atlanta 15 years ago, I immediately fell in love with the skyline, vibrancy, food and diversity. And each ensuing year has deepened my affection for this city, and by extension, the people that call it home. That is why a percentage of my commission will go to a small local nonprofit benefitting the side of town where you buy or sell your home. So, every transaction at MadeATL continues after we leave the closing table. For more information on the projects that are being funded currently, check out my charitable arm, Matriarch.

Lawyers are pretty incredible negotiators

For ten years, I practiced law in the city of Atlanta. And although I wasn’t a fan of the day-to-day life of a practicing lawyer, it taught me a number of key skills. One primary skill is the art of negotiation. Not only do I love developing the best strategy to get you to your goal, I’m really, really, good at implementing it too.

My end game isn’t my commission

Remember how I just said I practiced law for ten years? Well, I made good money doing that. But I left it. Cause money isn’t everything.* So, what does that mean for you? It means that I’m in it for the love of the game. I’m passionate about all aspects of real estate: finding the right neighborhood and the right home in that neighborhood, brainstorming creative ways to meet your financial constraints, identifying which neighborhood is the next “it neighborhood” for investment, dreaming of ways to move walls and change fixtures that makes a good house into a great one.

Every deal is done with dignity

Every person who touches each housing transaction will be treated with respect and dignity. That includes you, my client, but also everyone I interact with on your behalf. I’m forthright and honest. And I don’t believe that the only way to win is for someone else to lose. I work toward win-win solutions to complex problems that inevitably arise during a housing transaction.

*Yeah, yeah. I know that only people with money say “money isn’t everything.” But I stand by the fundamental principle stated by one of the greatest philosophers of our time when I say I firmly believe: Mo money, mo problems.
